INVESTMENT
As you may have noticed already, I’m the guy in a bowtie. I am a strong believer in looking presentable at a wedding. So I usually rock a bow tie, braces and suit jacket/trousers and depending on the weather, a warm coat. Saying that… My mission is not to be noticed, people tend to look their best when they don’t know they’re having their photo taken. I have been often told that I always seem to be there at the right time but the truth is I was always there and only noticed when looked for. A bit of Ninja!
I usually start with the day getting the photos during preparation of the chosen person in the morning. Depending on the schedule I will make my way to the ceremony venue and capture it before anyone arrives and whilst guests arrive. These details are really important to us as they are things that probably took a lot of time organising, creating or making and is often forgotten in the whirlwind that is a wedding. Of course, the ceremony itself is captured throughout and then it’s on to the reception venue. Same goes again for capturing those little details and the venue itself. You can always guarantee we’ll be there to capture the funny moments that are often missed. Depending on the schedule we would have formal photographs taken, and lots of informal candids.
A selection of these gorgeous photos you see throughout the website is from the two creative sessions I fit into the day. They are very quick creative sessions to capture just you. I think this is really important as you won’t be doing this again looking so beautiful and handsome as you are. The first creative session is usually before the reception dinner and the other is usually before the first dance. It gives for a very contrasted look and some really special photographs. I have also been told that this time is a really nice time for the couple to enjoy time alone (despite being with us).
Depending on which package you choose, we are there until the speeches or till the first dance. All of this information, including guest name photo list, is noted well before the wedding and I create a run sheet of the day. This helps you and I know what is happening when. Now I know that the best-laid plans… Well sometimes don’t work out and that is to be expected but we will endeavour to keep, as best we can, to the run sheet we come up with together.
And that’s usually that. I have had requests to stay on longer, which is absolutely fine. Please contact me if you have anything special planned after the first dance. I really would not want to miss out on fireworks!
After all the photos are done it takes me around 4 – 6 weeks to get the photos back to you in a lovely presented usb box and an extra little treat!

Wedding Albums If there is one thing I truly believe is the single most important investment after your photography, is your wedding album. Although I do offer the digital only packages, the most sensible way of cherising your photos is to have them in print. And there is no better way of achieving this than getting an album. The chances are that your digital images will stay digital which of course is a crying shame.
I exclusively use QTalbums for my wedding albums. I have chosen to use this company exclusively because of the high quality print and paper they use, as well as being totally kickass too!
